Heatstroke is Fatal for Dogs...

It's going to be hot this weekend....please do not take your dogs out during the hottest times, always walk in the evening if your dog and only if your dog is not at risk as it will still be hot then. Your dog will be better off with enrichment instead. Get out the padding pool and fill with a bit of water, make an ice bowl treat... i like to do a round one then they can't find an edge.... a bit of water, pour some sardines in spring water juice in and some sardines, blueberries, peas, melon (no seeds), splodge of peanut butter (no xylitol), bit of kibble, yogurt...anything you want. then freeze and turn out... guarantees your dog stays hydrated and entertained for a long while...
